On the surface, this is a story about shoes. Man shoes. Really, really bad man shoes -- and how if a man doesn't have the right shoes, he's really not a man at all. Or something like that. Oh, The Joys always says it better.
In this story, she also says something that's been sticking around in my wee little brain -- which, believe me, is a feat. For the most part, I tend to shy away from male bloggers, she says. And it strikes me that so do I.
Sure, there are definitely a few daddy bloggers I check out on a regular basis, but I find myself much more interested in the mom bloggers -- and I can't figure out why. Is it because, as an at-home dad, I feel I have more in common with at-home moms than regular ol' dads? Is it because dads are often whiny? Is it because moms talk about vaginas more? I dunno.
But I'm curious -- who's winning your parenting bloggy attention? Moms or dads?
