If you care about this, you already know, but Kris Allen was crowned the winner on “American Idol”
last night. If you’re like me and like to look like you’re keeping up
with the kids without actually having to subject yourself to American
Idol, perhaps this helps.
In much more serious news, terror suspect Ahmen Ghalani will be sent to New York from Guantanamo Bay to face trial in
the 1998 bombings of the US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. President
Obama is expected to announce the trial during an address today on
Guantanamo and other security issues.
New York City Police and federal agents arrested four men who were plotting to bomb synagogues and other landmarks in the city.
