• Crush of the Week: Jeff Hyslop, Today's Special

  For those of you unfamiliar with Today's Special, it was a show about four friends who worked in a department store and had adventures together. It had the potential to be enormously creepy, as one of the main characters Jeff, was a mannequin who came to life after the store closed each night. Jeff is so adorable, however, that it's easy to forgive his short-comings. He can sing, he can dance, and he has the soulful eyes of a young Billy Joel. What's not to like? Read More... • Crush of the Week: Entire Cast, Zoobilee Zoo

  Ah, Zoobilee Zoo...magic and wonder were waiting for us every time we tuned in to this much missed children's show.  This menagerie of candy-colored anthropomorphic fur-clad hotties begged us to get in touch with our inner animal and we fell head over tails for the whole bunch.  We loved Mayor Ben’s authoritative style and were inspired by Van Go Lion, while the dads certainly dreamt of hopping around with Whazzat, the sexiest pink kangaroo we’ve ever seen.  If your significant other ever asks to see you in cat ears, then they may very well be harboring a residual Zoobilee Zoo fetish.   Women everywhere can be thankful that Marc Summers was able to triumph over his OCD long enough to host one of the all-time messiest shows on TV.   Last month, we ran a list on Babble called The Ten Most Crush-Worthy Children's Show Hosts by L.J. Williamson. It was a great list. Steve from Blue's Clues was #1. Melanie Martinez was #5. We thought we'd covered passionate feelings for the stars of children's television. But nay! Our designers, Mandalee and Derrick, and our photo editor, Lauren, staged a revolt! They went on YouTube. • Babble Talk: More Crush-Worthy Children's Show Hosts

  Even happily married parents are not immune to crushes. More specifically, crushes on the hosts of the TV shows our kids watch. The latest Babble list, courtesy of L.J. Williamson, counts down the 10 most crush-worthy children's show hosts in history, ranging from Mister Rogers (it's the kindness -- and the cardigans -- that always won us over) to Steve from "Blue's Clues."
