Dora the Sexy Explorer
As much as I understand a company wants to keep its product
(I mean character) relevant to the audience, it’s not necessary to grow Dora
with the kids. You see, new young kids come along to replace the old audience.
I’ve yet to see Elmo grow up and wrestle with paying off college loans on his
useless liberal arts degree. At five, my daughter is way past Dora, but my
two-year-old boy is just getting into her. Though I’ll admit the sexed up Dora
may really keep him hooked.
