  I'm at once entranced and appalled by the preciousness of these wee eggplants carved into tiny veggie penguins. Aren't they clever? And cute? And seeing them reminded me of the horrible lengths we go to sometimes as parents to get our kids to eat. Anything. Please eat something. Please. Please? For mama? For daddy? Please? Just a bite.
