I hate daycare. And winter. And my husband's place of employment, and
lots of other things that I am typically in favor of, because I think
they have contributed to the germfest that has turned my house into a
near approximation of a TB ward over the last few weeks.
It sucks, and because I am pregnant I can’t take anything, and because my daughter is under six she can’t either.
My husband? He prefers complaining to actually doing anything about it
refuses to in solidarity with us. With all the news lately about risk of overdose, ineffective medicines and so on I just don’t want to mess with giving my kid cold medicines. So I greeted this news
of a study which was published in the Archives of Pediatrics and
Adolescent Medicine, with great joy. Apparently, just a teaspoon of
honey works as well as cough medicine and better than no treatment at
all.
