  Checking for the BPA-free label when shopping for baby bottles may soon be a thing of the past. The six largest manufacturers of bottles in the United States have voluntarily agreed to go Bisphenol-A free. • Should Schools Test Parent Volunteers for Tuberculosis?

  The San Juan Capistrano School District has canceled mandatory tuberculosis testing for its parent volunteers - to be paid out of the parents' pockets.  TB? In 2009?  Considering letters were just sent home to parents of Detroit students notifying them that a high school student has been diagnosed with tuberculosis, it's a real threat. But is it appropriate to start testing parent volunteers?  What's next, AIDS testing for the guy delivering cans of juice to the cafeteria? Read More...
