There
are a ton of domestic initiatives to show support for Iraqi troops -
civilians can send cards to soldiers, or donate books, CDs, and videos
to help make combat life a little more tolerable.
But even
soldiers agree that nothing is more intolerable than fighting against
cancer - especially for kids. So Major Stephen Roberts, a pediatric
oncologist deployed to Iraq, organized an event to support the St.
Baldrick's Foundation (Get it? It's called St. Baldrick's because
they're bald!).
