Seems even The Power Rangers
aren't immune to the economic downturn. Disney hasn't said anything
officially, but according to the New York Post, "the cast and crew [of
the Power Rangers TV show] were informed this week that the show has
been dropped." OK, it doesn't have anything to do with the recession,
it's just plain old economics -- the show doesn't have any ratings.
(Interestingly, the toys still sell, according to the Post.)
It's sad, and yet, it's really not.
