How long is too long when it comes to a kid's name? Is it going
overboard to give her two middle names if you want to honor, say,
multiple relatives? If mom and dad have two different last names, is it
okay to hyphenate?
The answers are subjective, obviously. But I can tell you this
much: the name Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa is way too long.
As Famecrawler recently reported,
that's the name Lisa Bonet and boyfriend Jason Momoa gave their new
son. They were very deliberate in their choices -- each word has a
meaning that clearly mattered to them. Still, seems like they could
have lost a word in there somewhere.
Of course, most people don't
get quite that extreme. But if we're inspired to say a lot with our
sweet child's moniker, it can be hard to hold back.
