selective. According to the AP, a 2 ½ year old boy in Maryland was
found wandering a rural highway. The boy had escaped from the safety of
his home and was discovered running in the middle of the highway before
he was “plucked” up by a dump truck driver.
The truck driver handed the child off to a correctional officer, who had stopped to help. The correctional officer was managing a crew of six minimum security
