It's true, naming a baby is huge. After all, it's the name your
child will be known by/saddled with for the rest of his/her life. Which
hopefully is a long, long time. And most parents correspondingly give
the naming thing the gravity it deserves, and think twice before going
with names like Eustace Jethrotull or Vidalia Quandary.
But
hello, changing your baby's name after the birth? I don't mean a few
days after ("Hey, look at her, she's not a Winifred after all; she's a
Constance!"), but I'm talking years later.
