Let me warn you that this story, which should simply be happy, has an unexpectedly tragic ending.
While
staying with his children at his parents’ home, an Oregon father woke
up the other night around 5 a.m. and discovered that his one-year-old
daughter, Kate, was not in her bed. Lawrence Higgins, Jr. woke up his
parents, who helped search for their granddaughter. When they could
find no sign of her, they called the police. Since Kate can’t walk yet,
the family feared she had been kidnapped.
