Day is soon upon us, and as trendy as "green" has become this year,
expect plenty of companies jumping on the bandwagon. And expect many of
those to be targeting your kids. After all, kids are often the leaders
in their families when it comes to changing habits – many parents I
know report that their kids, especially once they get to school age,
are the ones enforcing recycling and nagging about turning off lights
and so on.
But one entity I didn’t expect to be pushing the
whole Earth Day thing was one that has a pretty major stake in getting
kids to be indoors, with the TV and DVD player and satellite dish all
