Good manners notwithstanding, big pork has a bone to pick (er) with lactivists. Blogger The Lactivist recently received a warning letter from the National Pork Board because of her Cafe Press t-shirt indicating that breastmilk was "the other white milk." Despite her massive profits (she figures about $8 thus far), the NPB is concerned that she might be eating into theirs.
C'mon corporate ho's, let's get real here! Do you think people researching "pork" on the Internet really care about your meat? And let's say they do. What about the 'other white milk.' We're talking about breastmilk here. Maybe the National Pork Board is worried that people interested in lactation are also interested in finding alternatives to beef?
National Pork is about to experience the whoop-ass that is unique to blogland, baby. Want to piss people off? Pick on the little guy... girl, especially the breastfeeding girl who is a mommy tiger of intellect and roar. And if you care to join the fray, speak your piece!
