The UK has found an unusual way to make use of their
country’s youth—as judges in the national smelly cheese contest. Contest
organizers say they use child judges because children’s sense of smell is more
acute than adults’, but I think it’s really because no self-respecting grownup
would spend all day with his nose glued to hunks of cheese that make gym socks
smell like roses.
