There
is a hilarious Willie Nelson song called "I'm My Own Grandpa," about
the complex relationships that arise when a man marries a woman with a
grown daughter, who subsequently marries the man's father, and both
unions produce sons. I couldn't help thinking about that song when I
heard about the English mother who underwent IVF so she could freeze
her eggs for her now 10-year-old daughter, who is sterile due to
Turner's Syndrome.
