Craig- women want him, men want to be him (and some want him as well).
It's a tough life. He recently signed for a few more 007 films, so
he's got that going for him. He's also the father to 15-year-old Ella.
Things are good.

So good that he says he is ready to be a father
again. He and his girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell have been a little busy,
but as soon as things settle down he wants to start them up (nudge,
nudge, wink, wink). It should be soon, nothing screams "settled down"
like James Bond.

Meanwhile, it appears there are other babes who have babes on their mind:

The pregnancy rumors are flying

Kate likes bloomers more than panties

Daddies need time-outs too

Photo: Wild Sound

Why James Bond Would Make the Best. He frequently travels. He drinks to much. He's a womanizer. And oh yeah, he kills people for a living. On top of all that, he's been known to cavort with a nuclear physicist played by Denise Richards.

*chuckle, chuckle*

But the DVD for the latest Bond film -- "Casino Royale" -- was just released, giving me the opportunity to hit the pause button on this (seriously, go look -- you'll thank me), while also affording me the chance to wonder whether 007 would make a good dad. Because let's face it, the James Bond franchise is going to get there eventually -- he's slept with too many femmes fatales to not have at least one kid pop up in a future film.

Can't you just imagine: "James Bond in Old Finger."

Still, as a parent, Bond has a lot going for him:

1. Those shooting skills are just what you need when aiming for the Diaper Genie with a fully loaded diaper while simultaneously keeping your kid on the changing table. Unlike me, Bond probably wouldn't miss.

2. Those combat skills are just what you need to A. put pants on a squirming toddler, and then B. snap tight all those god damn tiny snaps.

3. And then there's the cars. Who needs a minivan when Q can rig an Aston Martin to include infant seats and hidden nanny compartments? Just replace the champagne cooler with a bottle warmer, and he's ready for Wal-Mart.

4. Home-schooling seems like a natural option, considering the kid will have days that involve flying around the world three times in 90 minutes. And really, nothing says education like a hands-on lesson in how to disarm a nuclear weapon or escape from a shark tank.

5. What about all those woman Bonds spends his nights with? Well, someone's got to babysit while Bond saves the day.

6. That license to kill could come in handy on prom night.

7. The guy has access to cash. Serious, serious cash. I can only imagine the stroller he would push. It would make the Bugaboo look like a shopping cart.

8. Sure, parent-teacher conferences would last all night long -- but at least the kid would get straight-As.

9. On the bad side, evil geniuses plotting his demise would not be a plus for scheduling play dates.

10. Still, there's something to be said for a dad who appreciates a fine martini. If the kid has colic, he'll need one.

Texas SAHD Survey Probes Deep

The University of Texas wants to know how you're doing, dads. Are you angry? Are you happy? Do you dislike gay people? Or cry a lot? Researchers are putting together a survey on how stay-at-home dads are adjusting to their new roles in life, and they have a LOT of questions.

I found the survey through Rebel Dad and also through Daddy Zine, and I have to admit I felt better and better about myself as the survey continued. "Do you feel blue?" No, doing fine thanks. "Panicky?" Um, no. "Dull or sluggish?" You mean when I'm not hung over?

My favorite parts were the nine billion questions about whether stay-at-home dads dislike gay people, and while I frequently drifted off to think of the <strike>37th </strike>one guy I'd change uniforms for ... damn! I drifted again ... I couldn't help wondering if that's a common perception people have of stay-at-home dads and whether the researchers were trying to quantify our "gayness." I'm not sure when this study will conclude, but I can't wait for the results.

5 Movies To Make Mama Hot

Are you a parent not getting enough loving? You're not alone. Get about three drinks into any cocktail party (especially if men and women are in different rooms) and the talk will quickly turn to sex: He wants it, she doesn't. She longs for it, but can't muster the energy after a long day of mothering or working and mothering.

Fights over differing level of desire seem to heat up after having kids, when there is less of everything to go around, especially sleep. And while on-line enterprises such as Babes in Toyland and Good Vibrations hock clever wares to address problems plaguing dull bedrooms everywhere, until they sell "Sleep in a Box" or "Daddy's Foreplay Kit: Do the Dishes" another pair of handcuffs and a leather thong won't solve the problem.

There are plenty of mamas who are just fine, thank you very much. But for those who are too tired and resentful to bring back that loving feeling, here are some flicks that might help. Whether you're a sex-starved angry kitten or a hide-away Jane Austen dreaming of your Darcy, these 5 movies will definitely put you in the mood (especially if he cooks dinner and gives you a foot massage while you watch).

1. Casino Royale. Daniel Craig in a swimsuit. Daniel Craig in another swimsuit. Daniel Craig with his shirt off. Daniel Craig cuddling her in the shower and Sucking. Her. Fingers.

2. Gladiator. The testosterone can be licked off the screen as Russell Crowe in all his buff glory fights and yells through scene after scene wearing a suit of armor. The big manly arms, the booming voice, the unfulfilled tenderness and heartache. Somebody bring me some water!!

3. Fight Club. Again with the testosterone. Even though Brad is a tad slim for my taste (I want the beef!), he is so gorgeous and perfect as he pummels the crap out of his opponents, it makes a girl weak in the knees.

4. 8 Mile. The totally untruthful tale about Eminem's youthful travails. But those eyes and that body. Somebody needs a spanking! Nevermind the bad sex in the factory, at least it was sensitively delivered (he looked into her eyes the entire 5 minutes).

5. Pride & Prejudice. The one filmed in 1995, not the nonsense with Keira Knightley. Only the Brits can do Austen justice. There is simply nothing more delicious than Colin Firth in all his snooty remove and overcoat begging for Elizabeth Bennett's hand in marriage (which she haughtily refuses). Colin, you make a girl swoon.

No sex life can withstand the power of these movies to recharge the tired old love batteries.
