Another word for 'praying' is 'hoping'.

Every parent sitting in a hospital 'hopes' or 'prays' that their child will recover. are you actually suggesting that your god chooses to keep the children of bible thumpers alive while letting the children of intelligent people die?

I personally would make no distinction. this makes me kinder than your god. If you like you can fire your present god and worship me instead, I (unlike your present god) will actually lead you to the truth.

God gave us Knowledge and there were Doctors(Healers in the bible) and he gave us all the things we need to cure even cancer, but the greed and ignorance of people stop GOD's real plan. No it is not right to expend a child's life because of a catheter. That is just true spiritual ignorance. My nephew had a killer Cancer at 2 1/2 yrs old and we were told he would not survive the operation. But ALL of our family was there to pray for the gift the doctor had in knowing her skill and Cancer and we laid hands and prayed for a miracle and annointed him and the Doctor who by the way was a Christian(What kind we didn't care) and she said she could use all the prayers she could get and low and behold the tumor was not attached,it was cancerous but had calcification around it and his CA125 was minimal and one round of Chemo. I am here to say my nephew is 18 years old Cancer free and does mission work for God. So you figure it out! Read your bible, Where 2 or more are gathered in MY NAME there I am also!

If I believed in hell, I would think that's where these parents belong. As it is, I think they belong in jail. I am especially disgusted by the parents of the 15 month old girl. Just the thought of losing one of my children fills me with terror. I can't understand any parent who wouldn't do whatever was necessary to keep their children alive and healthy.
