It makes me sick!!

And ignorance is no excuse. Who the hell doesn't know you need to put kids in car seats these days?

I will say that where I work, in Greenwich CT, I see a lot of this as well as people letting tiny kids run across parking lots, etc. Most of the people in that town are extremely wealthy, and I've come to believe that having all that money makes them think they are invincible.

Attending the funeral of a friend of my daughter's, killed when the Jaguar he was driving wound up wrapped around a tree, really brought this home. We went to his parents' "compound" in Greenwich to pay condolences. He was their only child. All the money in the world didn't help them, and in fact... that was too much car for a 16 year old.

Sorry for babbling... but that's what we're here for...right?

Well, I guess you could say at least she wasn't driving and holding her kid on her lap.
