&lt;p&gt;If the school staff called the parents the parents would know what they are doing behind closed doors. My son was restrained and put in seclusion more times than I ever want to think about and I didn't find out until a year after I pulled him out of school because I thought he was having a breakdown. We never knew.&lt;/p&gt;

If a kid's acting out enough to be restrained, why isn't the school calling his parents to come pick him up? Holy crap - I can't believe this stuff can go on.&lt;/p&gt;
