My sons knows all the Muppet show characters really well, because I am a shameless muppet fanatic. I love that the show appealed to all ages, and yet never quite lost a sense of youthful optimism. Our car music rotation is almost never without some of the film soundtracks and I always sing along with them for the boys!

Yes, all of those and more. Lately I've given music like that to new parents in the hopes that it can keep them from committing suicide after having listened to it nineteen times in a row. Right now my daughter and I have the sound track to "Wicked" running in a continuous loop in the car.

because we homeschool, i feel i have to provide the peer pressure and fads (jk) - i like Hello Kitty so much - whenever we see a little plastic kitty purse or something my 3 yo croons "oh, mama would LOOOOOOOOVE dat!" Schoolhouse Rock is catching on with my littles... some things you just have to pass on...
