I hate to admit it, but I've been spending a lot more time in sweatpants now, though that is mostly due to the fact that I am now too small for my maternity clothes but still too big for my prepregnancy clothes, and have yet to find time to buy new ones. I really want to wear grown-up clothes!

I agree about the paper dolls. Give moms-to-be (and new moms) hope, darn it! As Lizawithazee points out, there is something in between returning to skinny hipsterhood (if you were ever there to begin with) and turning into schlumpy sweatpants mom.

Whoah, not all mommies turn into sweatpants-wearing schlumps. I'm far from a skinny hipster, but it's not either/or.

"Sweatpants to come"? Shoot, I was wearing sweatpants even before. This is why I will never be cool, though, so YMMV.
