I've seen the end of that race in slo-mo from several different angles. He won. Get over it.

I think the clearest video of Phelps touching first occurs in the underwater side view video. You can see Phelp's fingers ease in just before the other guy! The timer's don't lie!

NBC showed this in great detail, not saying there was controversy, just amazement at the closeness of the touch. It was pretty clear by their footage that Phelps hit first. Besides, Bob Costas said so.

The swimmer that came in second and his team had a chance to sit and review the video and images after the race when they disputed the results. Whatever they saw was enough for them to let it go and accept silver. Why all the fuss to rain on Michael Phelps parade?
