no no no guys you dont get it. it's OK for a teen to get pregnant as long as she has RICH parents that will take care of her and the baby. It is NOT okay for the poors to get pregnant see?

yes and teaching teens about how their bodies work and what they look like is just a TERRIBLE idea. It's much better if they're ashamed and naive.

No, no - Sarah Palin will decide if she wants to force your children to do the same, by rescinding your right to let them learn about birth control and have abortions. She knows best! After all, her kids are doing great, right? right? right?

The whole thing reeks of the 'see-no-evil' hypocrisy the GOP has used for years. Stastics - bah. Reality - no, thanks. Let's keep our kids in the dark, that'll deter 'em from having sex. We're doing our children a tremendous disservice in the name of preventing teen sexuality. I wonder if people are actually listening to the incredible misinformation kids are coming out with when they're not taught anything about sex beyond 'not until marriage'. Forget the media - I wonder if Palin has ever personally examined her stances versus her family life. And whatever your views are, Palin herself accepted the VP nom knowing the news of her daughter's pregnancy would be dissected. Sad to wonder if she exploited her daughter's condition to further her political agenda.

It is, at the very least, a remarkable example of consistency - she opposes teen pregnancy prevention neither in her life nor in anyone else's! And, she's clearly prepared to force all of her children to live with the consequences of that choice she made for them. We just need to decide if we want to force our children to do the same.
