oh, I agree it was tacky. But saying that his privacy was violated is kind of loopy. I also think that he shouldn't be surprised - tackiness, unfortunately, is to be expected.

About not signing on for it, many shows prohibit photographing or filming, so if whis is one, it's reasonable to say he has an expectation that performance photos won't hit the web (and honestly, although I'm guilty of photographing in prohibited shows, this was kind of tacky)

I've said this before about Radcliffe being involved in the wonderful play, Equus:

1) People are so crazy about the nekid body, jeez! We've all got mostly the same bits split about 50 50, so chill.

2) Equus, if done well (I haven't read reviews of this production) is a wonderful and very thought provoking piece of theatre. I highly recommend it. It is definitely NOT for children, and that should be okay. The scenes sans-clothing are the least of the adult issues discussed in the piece. Radcliffe should not be chained to a "child friendly only" artistic career just because he was in some movies based on a much loved book.

Wow, he has more muscular arms than I would have thought from those Harry Potter movies.

And I'm kind of with the "what's the big deal" people - he was getting naked on stage in front of good amounts of people per week, so it isn't like someone caught a shower pic of the guy. Equus is a respected bit of theatre, so it's not like he was doing some weird, fetid ZOMGindy piece. We all have bodies, and he was just acting in his. Who cares? If Harry Potter grows up to have kids in the end, will the same parents boycott the books because Harry Potter had sex at some point? Surely not. . .
