NPR reported in 2007 that 47 states do (&lt;a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=7761664"&gt;www.npr.org/.../story.php&lt;/a&gt;), but there could certainly have been additional laws passed in the year since that was published. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I work at a hospital in Illinois and we have similar signs near our entrances to alert people to the program.&lt;/p&gt;
