i think they're just trying to make a point - no one would eat ice cream made with human breast milk, but we'll eat it made with cows' breast milk? it makes even less sense.

That would be why the author hasn't made the jump from vegetarian to vegan. I personally love ice cream, hate milk and would drop Bin and Jerry in a jiffy if they made that switch.

Umm, hello? Cows milk is something made by a cow specifically for her infant, and somehow millions of Americans have gotten over that ick factor.
