&lt;p&gt;For the truth or falsity of that one, we only have the testimony of a librarian, stories in the local paper from the time as the town's citizens were coming to the defense of the librarian, and (of course) Palin's current denial. &amp;nbsp;A librarian *was* indeed fired, and there is every indication that Palin did, in fact, make inquiries into the banning of some books, even if this list is not the correct one.&lt;/p&gt;
