Totally not just a guy thing! A couple of weeks ago, I suddenly shouted at my husband, "it was our anniversary a few days ago! We forgot!" The kids laughed, we laughed and shrugged our shoulders, etc., etc. A few days later I realized, no, our anniversary is the following month -- October! How sad is that? We don't even know when our anniversary isn't, much less how many years into this relationship we are.

I can honestly say I really don't care if my spouse remembers how many years we've been married. I don't always remember. In fact one year both of us forgot our anniversary. There's nothing wrong with celebrating an anniversary, but we're happy and loving every day, we don't need a reason to remember to be so once a year.

2000 too, and my wife's B-day is exactly a month after our anniversary, I got it easy.

Still, the Obama's look a bit happier than the McCains. I'll bet Barack never called Michelle the C-word.
