Hooray for members of the Alternatives to Marriage Project! I just love that people from so many different perspectives and marital statuses can agree that our health care, taxes etc. shouldn't depend on having a government certified relationship.

Happy coming out day! I'm a bisexual woman married to a straight man, and pleased to be a member of the Alternatives to Marriage Project. Legal marriage happened to be available to us and suit our needs (the need for a huge awesome party was only somewhat connected) but I don't think it's really the government's business how my family is set up.

I assume you've heard of the <a href="www.unmarried.org/about-us.html">Alternatives to Marriage project</a>, yes? I'm totally with you on this one. Even as a married-by-a-rabbi, probably getting married in MA soon, lesbian.
