That claiming the rights that should be afforded to everyone would make people &amp;quot;too conservative&amp;quot; is ludicrous. Was Martin Luther King conservative? Rosa Parks? It comes down to a matter of equality - EVERYONE should be granted these rights. And if a gay man decides he wants to have a biologically-related child, an act that goes unquestioned daily for straight men, he's not creating a status symbol. He's creating a child. &lt;/p&gt;
