We had a 2BR house, so my parents slept downstairs, in our (unfinished) basement. As I got older, I kept trying to encourage them to switch with me - I felt really guilty about it. At the same time, I really relished the privacy of having my own space!</p> <p>I desperately wish we could afford a place with more rooms, so we could give the kid her own!
