&lt;p&gt;I put together my own costumes as a kid. &amp;nbsp;Now I'm really lucky to have a very talented MIL who makes matching costumes for me and my son(although sometimes just his, and I figure out my own).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Honestly, being secular Jewish, I think I'm just suffering from Christmas decoration envy!&lt;/p&gt;

It's a waste of time and a ridiculous and wasteful marketing scheme perpetrated by the RiteAids and drugstore conglomerates of the world. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Oh yeah, and &amp;nbsp;I hate crappy supermarket candy.&lt;/p&gt;
