So I'm wondering: what's up with all the slutty costumes?

re: Why Are The Grown Up Costumes For Women So Slutty?

I want to see half naked men :(

Sure, if you had $60 to spend, you could get a nice renaissance gown or dress up as Queen Elizabeth; otherwise, it was slutty vampire, skanky witch, sexy zombie (?!), hot nurse... um, slutty cat, slutty bunny-rabbit, slutty whatever.

Don't even get me started on the costunmes aimed at teenaged girls- what was supposed to be a dress was shirt-length, at best...

And why is it that even in matching his n' hers costumes, the guy looks decent and the woman looks like a big ol' hooker? I'm thinking of pirate costumes specifically, but there are others.

And as for gender disparity, no one wants to see half naked men, right?
