One of them (Bit O'Honey) was on my Babble List, but the rest weren't. Let's look at a few entries from the Island of Discarded Sweets

re: The Candy That Time Forgot

I said Sugar Daddy, I meant Bit O' Honey. And I bought Pop Rocks at the movies. I actually like them. I love those dots, but you have to go to old-fashioned candy stores to get them. I love Toblerone. My Dad buys it, but I don't know from where. The last place I saw it was a wine shopI was in with my Mom. The wax soda bottles are really really sour. My friend had candy cigarettes the other day. No idea where she got them, though. My Mom's friend brought some home for me from Korea once... I've never heard of Sixlets or Toffifay.

Back then I yearned for(still do) turkish taffy(3 flavors...put it in the freezer them crack it up), chocolate sponge, and bazooka bubble gum in a roll like tootsie rolls. Sigh!

I vividly remember enjoying the candy cigarettes and feeling oh-so-grown-up. Never became a smoker either. hmmm.

I loved the wax bottles. I think I remember enjoying the combination of the texture of the wax and the juice was tasty. I think the older version of these were better too. They were softer I think.

It's a guilty pleasure, but I still enjoy a good old packet of Pop Rocks now and then.

I love Pop Rocks! And you can still buy Sixlets any old place - one of my favorite favorites!

And bubble gum cigarettes didn't taste that bad - just like the 1 cent gum. Plus, they were ultra cool!
