The chicken one is more general. Calves raised for veal, egg-laying hens and pregnant pigs may only be confined so that they can lie down, stand up and fully extend their limbs or wings and be able to turn around freely (right out of my voter booklet). Pretty much applies to people making money off these rather than 4-H or fairs, etc. It's mostly sponsored by the Humane Society.

And whatever happened to separation of church and state? People's individual moral beliefs should not override an individual's rights. No on Prop 8!

Don't forget the scary one out of Colorado! We get to vote on whether or not a fertilized egg is a person. *shudders* It's a scary-ass amendment, that's for sure.
