That would at least be a &amp;quot;reason&amp;quot; for why they did this. Evanston is not cheap, even if you own the house free and clear, the property taxes would be around $6-7K a year, plus utilities, etc.&lt;/p&gt;

You're right. Someone didn't report the first death, and then they all just kind of hung out with the bodies. By then he or she had to know that their corpse would just be left to rot in the house. &lt;/p&gt;
