I am very protective of my wife and son. I will say that reading about your situation I was reminded of the work many moms, in particular, do around reproductive rights and what kind of lessons their daughters will hear in Catholic school. Many parents who support Robin and I relate to us through stories about their daughters and Catholic teachings about reproduction. One would wonder if any parent as PTO president publically advocated for the right of women to control their bodies would be forced to resign the position?

Bottom line is gay or straight parents do struggle with what is right for their child in a very imperfect world--but we try and we love them deeply.
