okaay,

thats pritty friggen laame that they're arresting this kid for farting.

i mean, i kno its destracting and innapropriet and stuff but, its part of the human body!

its like putting this kid in prision for going pee or somethin!

OMG, haven't you ever been around any adolescent boys?? They can fart on cue! My twin brother had an apparently inexhaustable supply of gas, reserved for my head, my face, and any time any of his friends might have been speaking. The kid was probably being hugely obnoxious, farting to disrupt class. Bonus points if it stinks! I can definitely imagine a scenario where every time the teacher tries to make a particular point, the kid passes gas, the class laughs, no learning is happening. It would be discipline worthy, just the same as if he were making wise-ass comments.

That is the craziest story I've ever heard. I don't see how they could conclude it was purposeful, and even if that was I wouldn't want that to be an arrestable offense. I live in Florida, but not that county. Should I be contacting the school board to see what their flatulence rules are?
