If they *really* want equality, then ban gender-separate sports TOTALLY. Of course, then you'll never have folks like the Williams sisters (of tennis fame) make the news, because they wouldn't crack the top 100 ranked players (because there are so many good men players), and therefore wouldn't participate in Wimbleton, etc. So, all sports would look pretty much like men's sports.
