In the past, Howard has ruthlessly mocked Scientology; long before it was de rigeur to poke fun at L. Ron Hubbard's celebrity

re: On Jett Travolta, Howard Stern Gets It Right

How were they "attempting to manage his seizures as best they could", as someone said. Kelly Preston herself said he used to be on seizure medication, but it made them worse, so they took him off. Therefore, by her own admission, he was not on any kind of treatment for seizures. This is NOT what happens when someone's seizure medication fails. You don't "take them off", you adjust the medication or switch it until you find something that does work.

It was a throw-away pot-shot. Yes, Joe the Plumber would be upset, even if he isn't a licensed plumber.

You know that Joe the Plumber wouldn't care if his child died?

It's always so interesting when liberals label themselves as the compassionate ones.

Even if Jett was autistic, it has absolutely nothing to do with the poor kid's death. The family was attempting to manage his seizures as best possible and there's nothing more they could have done. Anyone trying to dredge up blame in this needs to back off and get a life.

A loss of a child is a loss of a child - it doesn't matter if you're a celebrity or Joe Schmoe (Joe the Plumber, however . . . ). So why are people surprised by the fact that John Travolta and Kelly Preston are sad? They are grieving the worst loss anyone can suffer.

As a parent, there's an unwritten rule that you're supposed to go first. You're right Brett, there is simply nothing sadder.

I understand if they didn't want their son labeled but to just altogether deny it? In any case, I feel so sad for their family. Such a tragic loss...
