Yeah, the Midtown guys said the same thing to me about sales of the Spidey book. I think it might be the dumbest decision in the history of comics. Seriously. I don't get it.

As for the first printing being worth anything, you're probably right but I'll save it anyway. It's not like the other books I've bagged are worth anything.

Marvel is really enjoying this. I have heard from the guys at Midtown that Amazing Spiderman has been selling pretty badly in comparison to pre-Brand New Day times. I bet Joe Q is going to use these sales as a further excuse as to how erasing Parker's marriage was a good idea.

I can also tell you that the first prinitng is not going to be all that valuable. Everyone already owns it. This is going to be forgotten in a few years like Superman's death, Spawm #1, and the vote in to kill Jason Todd.

But hey, this is great for my favorite comic book store, so I have no real complaints about Joe Q finally making an intelligent decision about Spiderman.
