Play House disney doesn't have commercials. the do have two monkeys that pop up inbetween shows (usually every half hour) and talk about one thing or another. and then because most shows are around 5 minutes short of the half hour, there is even a smaller show in their. I like Disney better because the have Handy Manny, which my daughter loves. I just dont like the whole Dora, Diego thing. and Handy Manny is a tolerable combination of Dora/Diego and Bob the builder. Oh and they have Imagination Movers and the Wiggles. Both are kids shows, but are not cartoons. And i really dislike cartoons. I only watch them because i know my daughter would have a fit if she missed "Mandy" (or Handy Manny to the rest of us).

We watch shows on both. Just depends on what's on. My 6 year-old doesn't like when the Disney channel switches from cartoons to "big kid stuff". And he tells me so everytime it happens.

We were a 100% PBS household until Olivia was made into a show. My kids are maybe too young for any TV, but they are completely obsessed with that little pig. We have to record the episodes so we can fast forward through the commercials.

Um, The Disney Channel doesn't have commercials - it's ad free.

Until the last year or so when my son discovered Power Rangers, Noggin was pretty much the only channel my kids watched because I liked that there was no advertising.

Nick gets us because of Noggin; if Disney had a channel without commercials, they might get more parents to tune in. But then they'd have to lose all that ad revenue, wouldn't they?
