I am so glad this has been posted! It is so important to take an active role in protecting our children.

I have found wonderful sun protective clothing for my 2 duaghters at www.shadysun.com. They have so many brands so kids will like them.

They also carry a wonderul broad spectrum sunscreen just for kids that smells like cotton candy and not at all sunscreeny.

My kid gets the sunscreen every time we go outside. As a former lifeguard, I get mole checks every six months and I don't want Jillian to have to deal with that, so sunscreen all around! Plus a hat. But there is no way I'm putting long sleeves and pants on a kid when it's 95 degrees out. That's just silly.

I'm so glad you posted this. I am a crazy person about sunscreen. I also bought my son one of those UV protected hat with ear and neck flaps. He may look silly, but no sun is getting on his face!

They said on the news yesterday that even the one's that say they last through sweat need to re-applied all the time. Also, we are not using enough. A thin coat does not do the trick. You need at least 2 tsp per limb.
