Heh heh . Perhaps you and your little one will feel better after watching these sweet and hilarious Japanese cartoon shorts. Another co, er, rooster in the hen house. Please welcome Chag of Cynical Dad to the SD this week. He's fitting in quite nicely, what with references to bongs and vodka . Well done, my friend. Well done. And thank god he's here. It's

Okasan to Issho is wonderful. The presenters dress up in ridiculous costumes to sing their songs. My favourite from a few years ago was the dancing sushi. The show has a live audience of two-three year olds on the set with them dancing along, and it quite regularly descends into pure chaos.

Here's a clip. Unfortunately Ichijoman and his great Ah Ee Oo Eh Oh song have been replaced by a bland Power Dance Man. Keep watching for Chocalantan's entrance with his trumpet. This is normally a sign for the chaos to start, but these wee teenies seem quite well behaved.
