I too have a blog for my kids and write it from their perspective. Also done, as previous poster mentioned, for my long-distance family and friends. I certainly don't expect people who don't know our family to find it even remotely interesting, but there's been more people reading it than I expected (co-workers, friends of friends). </p> <p>Yeah, at some point when they're older I will stop putting words in their mouths, but for now, it's my version of a journal. Only the person writing the note should sign. There is etiquette involved in thank you notes. Last I checked Emily Post doesn’t cover blog narration. Anyway - I use a blog format for my family and friends to see pictures of my child. I find it less intrusive than sending millions of photos and pushing my baby’s images on people. So, to be considerate of others, I just post them online in blog format - usually with something from my baby's perspective to keep things interesting and add a little explanation. The narration is more like a little speaker bubble as in a comic strip. I don't use my blog to provide social commentary or give advice - it is more of a basic photo-journal or our comings - and goings.
