I think the five minute quickie has its place in a good sex life. I used to think they were absolutely USELESS, until I had kids. Now I know that they're so much better than nothing. And often it seems that the quickies lead to longer and more satisfying sessions later.

It's a good place to re-start anyway.

Hey there, I have actually become a great fan of the 5 (or 10 if we're lucky) minute quickie, (especially with the recent addition of child #3) and have found that it has actually served to spice up our sex life, as it has forced us to break some of the old "tried and true" patterns. AND it has indeed made us much nicer to each other, less likely to bicker, and generally in better moods.

I'm not throwing out my toys either, but in the current absence of time or energy for frequent long "sessions", the increased frequency of shorter encounters has done us a world of good, (and they have been surprisingly fun and sexy to boot!)
