Except, of course, that 5 minutes' research would have shown that at least one of the examples you give is not true. And another is being hugely misrepresented.

Baa Baa Black Sheep has never been changed because of race relations. The story has run intermittently since 1986, and none of the reports have turned out to be true. The charity which runs the playgroups referred to, Parents and Children Together, said: "children at the two family centres sing a variety of descriptive words in the nursery rhyme to turn the song into an action rhyme. They sing happy, sad, bouncing, hopping, pink, blue, black and white sheep etc. This encourages the children to extend their vocabulary."

The 'Three Little Cowboy Builders' was not rewritten because it was offensive to Muslims, and to suggest so is to misrepresent the article to which you link. A book, 'Three Little Cowboy Builders' was submitted for a prize. It failed to win the prize. It has not been rewritten. Of the seven concerns the judges had which prevented it winning, one concerned Muslims. Even the quotation you use suggest that the judges were more concerned about offending builders than anyone else.

Would it be too much to expect a rewrite of the fairy tale you have concocted above (admittedly because you made the mistake of believing that The Telegraph would do its research)?

where did you hear about the other ones mentioned in the opening paragraph? This stuff is so sad, but it makes me laugh.. weird.
