Wow!!! I'm guessing this is one of many plate choices. So don't get the plate if you don't want it. And if you can't stand "in God we trust" please, don't accept money or better yet, give it to me. I wouldn't have a problem with a "in Allah we trust" or "I don't believe in God" plate. What about freedom of speech??? or does that only matter when it is your speech that is silenced???

As a Floridian...I can say that this sort of thing is rampant down here. And Maeby...I could be yelling "JESUS WOULDN'T CUT PEOPLE OFF!" all day...WWJD stickers are practically given to you whenever you buy a car in the state of Florida. Hell, I'm surprised I wasn't given a bible and a map to the closest Baptist church when we moved here... The sad thing is, for a state full of people who are all about expressing their love for Jesus on their car...they sure do have a funny way of expressing their love for their fellow Floridians.

This makes me really angry too. The difference between license plates and bumper stickers is that license plates are state issued. That's what makes it wrong.

I dont really see the difference between that and bumper stickers with religious or political statements. I could care less if the person in front of me has a christian license plate. It's their car. If they act like a deuche bag on the road though you can yell out "THAT WASN'T VERY CHRISTIAN OF YOU!" and that sounds fun.

But yes I do agree that they should make it available in other religious symbols as well. Flying Spaghetti Monster?

Another fyi, the cross and tacky stained glass windows are not universal symbols for christianity. Not all christian religions flaunt or evenb use the symbol of the cross on which jesus was torchered and murdered, or use stained glass with pictures in them to supposedly beautify their churches. So perhaps the license plate can specify which religion it is suppose to be portraying, such as Catholic, just as an example.

You bring up a very valid point, other religous groups will certainly fight for custom plates for their faith also. And to exclude them would...not be cool.

Indiana has a plate that says "IN GOD WE TRUST" and it's everywhere. I agree with you, it's annoying. I don't agree with the "choose life" plates, either.

If I'm driving behind you, I don't care to know about your religious or political preferences. Honestly. Just drive.
